My first question is Anyone ever tried nutrisystem or Nutrisystem? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another question I got... Hi guys. It's a little hard for a guy in his twenties to admit it but I can't do this on my own anymore. I've taken a nutrition class at my college and passed with an A, but theory and practice seem to be harder than expected. I was 190 pounds when I graduated from highschool in 06' since then i've gained 80 pounds. |

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

What kind of things will I need to buy from the grocery store?..
|
|
Bravo, You need to buy some low fat milk, some low fat salad dressing, something to make salads with (I go through a bag of prepared salad every two days), low fat yogurt and some fruit (apples, pears, plums, grapes, etc. just not bananas to start)....this is sort of the minimum...start with this and after a few days on the program you can start to branch out. There is a list of potential grocery food on this web site under the tips and recipes tab, but the list I gave you is about the minimum. Best of luck...

It is a little expensive, but I believe it won't be much more than you currently purchase as a college student. Look at it as an investment in your future and self. All of us are here because our weight either is or has been an issue in our life. The support you'll gain on the forum is outstanding too..
Also, the quantity of food you get is smaller than you're use to but the quality is outstanding (IMHO).. Tab.. |

Big Lots recently had some of the older Nutrisystem program foods on sale. I'm not sure if they still do, but I bought a bunch of lunches for a dollar each. That might be useful to help you stretch things a little..
And, you will will spend less on fast and junk food this way, so that's one good thing to help offset to the costs.. It's never too early to start...most of us would all tell you we wish we'd have been smart enough to do something like this at your age.. Good luck!.. |

Starting in your 20's is a good thing. I waited till I hit my 30's. I really wish Id of done this sooner...

Amen to that. I was very active in college and throughout my 20s, but I ate junk all the time. Now I'm 33 and I wish I had started a program like Nutrisystem in my 20s when I had all that extra energy and my metabolism was burning a bit faster than it does now. The longer you wait to start the harder it will be to de-fat...
