Got a quick question: Can you eat avocados on the Medifast Diet? Thanks for any comment. My 2nd question... Yesterday, I was tutoring a 6yo girl (Jenny). You know how children just tell it like it is so I truly never expected what she told me. Another tutor brought us some cookies, so when I said no thank you, Jenny asked, "but why would you say no to cookies?", to which I replied that I was on a diet and trying to lose some weight. Guess what she said??? "why are you on a diet? you don't look fat! is your mom making you do it?" OMG! I could have hugged her right there!!! this, coming from the mouth of a 6yo, is better than any compliment I could ever get from any adult!.. |

The answer is Yes, but you might wanna make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you call the Medifast guys because they can answer you better...

Dory - I posted a blog this week about how Jenny broke my heart (she managed to make me very happy and break my heart all in 1 hour). She's overweight and so is her mother. She confided that she has absolutely no friends at school and that none of the kids will play with her because "she's too fat" She's already going through so many challenges in her young life and this is one she didn't need on top of everything... |

I work at an elementary school and I pop popcorn on Fridays as good behavior incentive, yesterday a girl said to me "where is your bag of popcorn" I said "I don't eat popcorn" I told her "You have gone to school here along time you know I am on a diet" She said "yeah you've lost alot but your not fat now you should eat some popcorn" I laughed and told her "Yes maybe I'm not but I better skip the popcorn today"..
