Quick question... Do you know any celebrities that have done or is doing the Medifast Diet? Thanks in advance for any comment. My other question... I am just finishing up week 3 on the program and i've lost a whopping 1lb this week. so disappointing. No worries though, not feeling defeated or like I am throwing in the towel. |

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

I am in the same boat I lost 1/2 a pound this week (my third week also) but I think maybe I am retaining more water. Maybe our bodies are adjusting to the foods and finding the right balance of water we need. I am hoping for a bigger loss this week and going to stay away from salty or processed foods the day before the weigh in..
Don't get too discouraged, I was for a day but feel better about the long run today... |

For most women week 2 or week 3 is usually low to no weight loss. I like to think of this as where you meet an equilibrium of water to fat loss. Stick with it, it works...

Mommabrown - I only lost 2 lbs my 3rd week and 0 my 4th week. I was pretty bummed. I just finished up my 5th week and lost 7 lbs for a total of 27 (haven't updated ticker). Stick with it...I think our bodies are adjusting...

Thanks everyone! this is just what I needed to hear. it's been a bad week for me (child had a nasty fall w/ injuries and then got sick on top of it) so I was feeling sort of 'blah' about everything. definitely not giving up though! i've seen through this board how well this plan works. I have no doubts that I can have the same results..
Thanks again, everyone!.. |

Just keep following the plan as written and the weight will come off. Don't focus on the scale. This plan works! Your body is just doing what it does naturally!..

My week 2 was only a 1lb loss but I didnt let it discourage me for the start of my 3rd week. In the past, when I would weigh in at WW, I would go home after a horrible weigh-in and find something (anything) to eat in an attempt to satisfy my disappointment. This time, when I weighed in last week and saw that I only lost one pound, I knew it wasnt something that I didnt do because I followed the plan. After taking some time to review all that I did over the week, I noticed that I was feeling bloated and realized that it was that time of the month. Because I had to have a hysterectomy at an early age (34), it's hard to know when Im going to get the symptoms because Im pre-menopausal. (thats a whole other story!!) Anyway, I got on the scale this morning (weigh- in is Wednesday) and I noticed I was 5 lbs lighter and it's not even weigh day!!! I say all of this to say, hang in there! Our bodies are our own worse enemy if we let them be! If youre working the plan, the plan will work!!..
