First question I got is Does anyone know how to get rid of the Medifast cookies on your browser? Looking forward for any answer or 2. My other question... I'm on day 17 of 100% raw, and I feel terrible. I felt great the first few weeks, but today (and yesterday) I have a headache, my energy is down, sore throat, achey. I don't have a flu or cold I don't think. I guess this is detox? Does anyone have any detox stories with happy endings that can make me feel better? I know I have to stick it out and get through it, but it helps me to know others have been through the same thing.. |

Yes sir! but... you might wanna make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Medifast guys because they can help better...

Try to remember that cooked Medifast food is an addiction and it is hard to give up anything to which you are addicted. If you give up now then all your efforts will have been in vain..
Make it a challange to beat this. There are gremlins in there trying to stop you but you are stronger than the gremlins and will not let them win.. Who is in Charge. YOU ARE... |

I'm going to say the same words that where said to me when I was experiencing the exact same thing:.
"hang in there, it will pass" and it really does! AND you do actually feel incredible after every detox phase (there will probably be a few more, might even get nasty), just keep your b12 levels up and your other essential nutrients and you'll know it's nothing but the cleansing.. You can massivly speed it up by doing all or some of these:. Colonics, saunas 2 - 3 times/week, skin brushing, drink TONS of water.. They also reduce the symptoms greatly as your helping your body dump the toxins out so you don't have to feel the toxins in your blood anymore, which is what makes you feel sick.. Hang in there, it will pass!. All the best to you.. J.. |

You are smack dab in the middle of your first deep-cleansing. Icky as you feel, remember your body is rewarding you for your hardwork by purging toxins that you really don't want in you anymore, anyways. How wonderful is that? I second the other poster who told you about feeling wonderful when the cleansing ends. You will totally be rewarded for this with extra energy, fewer cravings, and weight loss..
Lots of rest, lots of blended greens (if you're hungry), and lots of pure water. Oh, and anything xtra you can do to help your body eliminate the toxins will speed up your detox. Think dry skin brushing, enemas, sweating, etc.. I'm so happy for you!. Em.. |

Thank you so much everyone! I really appreciate all of the encouragement. I am feeling quite a bit better today. I went to bed early last night after eating a salad with a few raw chips I bought (yay for mothers market! I was so stoked to find raw corn chips- they were expensive but worth it. I still don't have a dehydrator to make them)..
This morning I woke up feeling much better, and on my way to work I got a shot of wheatgrass and an apple/carrot juice freshly squeezed. I feel a lot better, not as good as normal quite yet, but it seems my skin is even clearing up.. I SO appreciate all of your encouraging words! It really helps me to know that what I'm going through is normal and that I'm not crazy (its weird how in society we are convinced if we feel ill it is from some outward cause as opposed to an inward cause- like diet. )... |
