First of all How are web Medifast cookies deleted without a cost ? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... I have been doing really well with eating raw but ate totally horrible yesterday. I got chips and sasla and a burrito. I did however, not get meat or rice in the burrito. I feel really icky today and went back to raw. |

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

EZ, you are too cool! And right. Just dust yourself off,.
No big deal. .. Keep moving' nothing to see here...... |

When I mess up I take notice of how horrible I feel and jump straight back on the raw wagon...

Aside from obviously returning to raw asap, I drink lots of green smoothie which makes me feel immediately better. Lots of juice also..
As for your recipes, there's some good ones here:. Http://www.juicing-for-health.com/. As well as info on the various types of fruit and veg you can juice.. My two favourite juices are:. 1 zucchini, 3/4 apples and ginger. Or. 1 sweet potato, half a pineapple and 2/3 apples. (this is SOOOO good, you can't even imagine...it kind of has the consistency of a milk shake).. |

Hi I was just wondering how you juice the ginger? Or do you grate it into the juice? I dont think my juicer would do much with raw ginger. Thanks..
|
|
I put a chunk of ginger into my Champion juicer and put some produce behind it and then use the plunger to push it through the juicer. I use a small chunk of ginger in most of the juices I make during the winter...

Suggestion/opinion:.
-Keep in mind that you did not 'mess up' on some one else's goals (at least I hope not). You messed up on YOUR goals. It is your own mind and goal-setting ability that 'tortures' a person. Set smaller, more realistic goals (with timetables). Keep them and FEEL successful - then larger successes will come....when you have the FEEL and mentality of allowing success.. -David Z. Mason.. |

Hey carro163.....I just got these wise words from Shazzie, in my inbox just this morning......
". It's no mistake. No matter what you do, right now, you can never make a mistake. All roads lead to everywhere and your real destiny. Give up worrying about choosing. It is done.. ". It took me a long time to realize that every action has a purpose....what it teaches you, well, that's all up to you! Don't beat yourself up about it though....that only serves one purpose.....to make you feel like a failure. And I'm telling you, that's the farthest thing from the truth!.. |

I agree with Shell. This is a journey; not a perfect route. Even though I agree that 100% raw feels the best for me there are times when I will eat something SAD (but alot of raw with it) and I pay attention to the way my body feels. I eat very high raw and my health is much better. I never want to go back to sad again. Do not think of your eating the sad as a slip up.
When you can be 100% that is great! Pat yourself on the back. Do not give in to the pressure of perfectionism that you have to be 100% or you are a failure. You are not a failure; you are doing the best you can. Keep going and good luck to you... |

My favorite juicing resource is a book by Norman Walker (if I'm not mistaken he lived to 119) called "Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices". Very informative and even talks about which juice combinations are best for certain problems, etc. My husband healed himself of kidney stones back in '96 using one of his recipes. Great little book and inexpensive to boot! I've loved all of his books..

I like that quote too....
Yes, my biggest incentive in staying raw, is how I feel when I eat SADly, especially noticeable if I eat SAD after eating RAW for awhile...it's so much more pronounced...I feel mucousy and flu-like, stiff and tired. Right away. Ya, you just burned your hand in the fire...sometimes that's the best way to learn that SAD is too hot! (what a pun) lol....wasn't it Ghandi who said that sometimes the best way to teach your child fire is hot is to let them touch it?. I burned myself as many times as necessary...and I believe I've got it now.. |
