Got a quick question: I have been on the Medifast Diet since monday.. hardly any weight loss ? Looking forward for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. Ok...this is day 1 for me. I had my first meal at 7:15, and wasn't really hungry until 9:30, so I ate my second meal then. It's now only 10:30 and my stomach is growling! I've been drinking water like crazy (already downed my 64oz).... |

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

Thanks JoJo! Unfortunately, there's no cravings at all...just hunger pains at the moment! LOL.
The good thing is...it does seem to be subsiding a bit...only 1-2 more hours...I can do this!.. |

What can you do to be busy? Are you home or at work? If you are home start cleaning closets. If you are at work, can you reorganize a file cabinet, storage unit. Even volunteer to help out another department? Just stay really busy..
And sometimes being on the boards was harder for me at my hungriest moments especially when folks talked about off plan foods... |

Welcome!!.
Very hot broth or bouillon (one cup or 8 fluid ounces) may help. This is a condiment, and you are allowed up to 3 condiments per day. Click on "success tools" at the top of this page, then "eat right" then "condiment recommendations" on the left.. And keep repeating... Hunger is not an emergency. I will be fine... |

I just started today and so far so good. No hunger yet. (keeping fingers crossed)...

In the beginning, I found that hot tea and crystal light, helped me over my hunger pangs..
And I know now, it's not always physical hunger, it's emotional.. Hang in there.. And it's ok to have more than 64 ounces of water!!!.. |

Yeah, itmay take you like amonth to get used to this program, but you are right track so far, so just hang in there it will get better, and you will still feel HUNGRY some days!@..

It helped me to know that hunger pains and stomach growling run in 45 minute cycles. If you can hang on for the 45, it resolves itself for the next 45 minutes. By then it may be time to eat. Good Luck!..

Thanks so much to each of you for your awesome words of wisdom and advice! I managed to hang on for each and every meal - today was a SUCCESS!!!.
And BTW, I just had the Banana Pudding as a shake (8oz water and 8-10 ice cubes)....OMG DELICIOUS!!! And the best part is, it's really good, but something about it doesn't make me immediately want to go make another one! HOORAY for Medifast!!.. |
