Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Just popping in to say hello. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I just found out that it's a long weekend. Kids neglected to inform me they have off Monday. Good thing I looked at the school calendar. I'm hoping to get started on Monday but being I have the kids home not sure how that'll work out....who knows maybe for the better..
Shauna, it is just the most beautiful day. We were outside this morning and it was soooooo nice. This whole weekend has just been perfectly beautiful especially after having such a miserable ugly last week.. Welcome back Mary....good to see you back. I find success if I can't do Medifast 100% I just try to keep the carbs low and the protein high and lean and lots of veggies and then try to squeeze in like three Medifast meals. Just sharing my success of not so Medifast dieting.. I can actually lose just as fast if not faster doing it that way... |

The kids are home and they are bored so they are fighting and torturing our cats..... I hope everyone has a very nice OP Monday.. I'm not OP today. Thought it could be a good first day having the kids home just cause I had to make myself get out of bed and not be depressed but the kids are actually driving me insane this morning w/their obnoxious fighting. So tomorrow will be back to normal and i'll start then. I'm looking so forward to getting started... |

Hi ladies!.
Happy Spring!. I'm on vacation and brought all my Medifast with me but I haven't been using it and there is no scale here!. Argh! I was down to 153 just a week ago and have blown it.. Mary come kick my butt...tell me your # because we were the same at one point and this past month I have been half-assing everything.. Anyways the weather is gorgeous and I'm going to attempt to take a 30 minute walk which I have done in a long time.. My goals for this month is to start tomorrow and stay OP until I reach goal.. To exercise at least 30 minutes a day.. Also to limit the snacks and take in all of my water.. Good luck ladies, and oh I should share that I bought myself a bikini at Target last week.. I bought it since I'm going to get spray tanned before Easter.. I would not wear it in public BUT I have to say although I've been off plan I've kept up with exercising indoors and I can see my cute little body trying to come out. Now if I can just stick with the plan I WILL be bikini ready!.. |

That is AWESOME!! You have inspired me to finally get around to daily exercise. I know I need to, but your post made it crystal clear that if I really want to rock a bikini instead of just wear one this summer, I need to get started on the toning like YESTERDAY!!!! I am taking my daughter shopping later today so I think I might look for a bikini for inspiration while we are out...

Hi Rosy and welcome. We are a small and close knit group and very supportive of each other. You don't have to commit to the bikini, but who knows... as you get closer to your goal, you might decide to get daring..

Sorry you are having a hectic day. Just do the best you can even though you are not OP, try to make the best choices you can. That is life... all about making the best choices with the hand you are dealt. Tomorrow is another day... Just Do It!!!..

I am so glad to see you are back with us. You have been missed. Just pick up where you are and keep moving in a positive direction. You can do this. I really love the sentiments AND the visual on your graphic today. The imagery of being enveloped in the forgiving hug and buoyancy of water is so soothing..
Your image reminds me of a painting I bought in Hawaii that I have hanging in my house. It is called "Life Begins" and it is a mother whale nudging her newborn calf toward the light at the surface of the ocean to take it's first breath. I was absolutely drawn to the painting when I saw it in the gallery. I could not leave without it. It was an extravagant purchase as it is an original oil by George Sumner, but a purchase I have treasured for years and I am so glad I own. It brings me joy and inspiration to look at it... |

1. Exercise daily in some way.. 2. Get back to the habit of logging my food (every bite) daily.. 3. Drink ALL my water daily.. 4. Connect emotionally with my daughter daily.. 5. Nurture my SELF as zealously as I nurture everyone else... |

Just wanted to drop in quick and say hey!!! I won't be around because my mom and I are going to our cabin up north for the rest of the week and have no phone or internet service. I am packing up a weeks worth of Medifast now to take with me, and I plan to stay as OP as possible while I am gone. I will be back on the weekend, have a great week ladies!!..

Today is a new day and i'm ready to get back to changing my life for the good. It is day 1, meal 1 and i'm feeling great.. When I am in destruction mode w/my weight it seems like the rest of my life is falling apart too. So I am so freaking ready for this change.. Shauna, I really like your goal w/your daughter. Along w/my new change w/my weightloss I am also working on my relationship w/my daughter. I have my son who I just click w/. He is mildy autistic but I so "get him". My daughter, who I just adore...she literally is my gift in life after some heartache. But we just don't click and that scares me because she's only 6. But this past year or so things have changed. I do think her personality is like my dh or something? That's not a bad thing, I just don't get her...her thinking is so diferent than mine. I know she feels like she doesn't get enough attention compared to her brother. We really do try but her brother takes ALOT of attention. So like your goal Shauna, i'm really going to work on more quality one on one time w/her (which we already do but just more of).. Well i'm off to change my ticker...this is so disappointing. But I am ready and happy for this new start... |

Hey rosy....Welcome to our group. I know what you mean about the large groups. You get alot of reading to do but someone can kinda get lost in a big group which is what I hated about them. As the others have said being in a bikini isn't required. I guess it's just more of a goal to just want to be in one (or a regular bathing suit for that matter) I think..

Ok, I feel like i've hijacked the thread.
But i'm almost done. I just forgot to post about my goal for the day. I'm going to post this whether you all want to hear it or not....ha!. I have yet to drink any water but going to get started in a minute w/my 8 glasses (is that what we're suppose to drink?). For my L&G is definitely a salad since my fridge is full of salad fixings that have been waiting for me and my lean is chicken that I think I will put into a crock pot w/my chicken noodle soup. I'm also going to add some celery and maybe 3 of those little mini snack carrots (got them for my daughter and she isn't eating them) to the soup....yum!. I have no exercise goal today. I usually don't for the first week just cause my energy level is so low. And it is very low today being that it's a miserable rainy day today along w/my first Medifast day.. I'm done....this thread has been returned to regular posting broadcasting.....haha. Good morning Sarah! Hope all is well and your 1st day went good... |

So just wanted to update that I am still on vacation, BUT I am going on day 3 of being OP!. Yes I had to skip the big buffet at the casino last night but my L+G here in the cabin was just as delish!. I can't wait to get back home although it's been relaxing here, because at home I have my routine which is vital at this point in my journey.. Glad to have inspired you Shauna! Good morning ladies!.
I am still doing great OP...just feeling a bit down.....i have alot of stress or maybe i'm just letting the stress get to me...who knows.. Sarah, just hang in there...it'll click once you get that determination. Maybe starting on a weekend would be easier since you aren't at work (or whenever your days off are) and the stress isn't so overwhelming. You can do this!....just picture how great you'll feel once you get those first 5-10 lbs off.. Have you ordered/tried some of the new Medifast foods? They have really helped me sooo much this time. I think some of the reasons for my success of staying OP are. 1. I am just loving the pancakes. I add a teaspoon or so of SF choco syrup and a tsp of sweetner...definitely takes care of my sweet tooth...yum. I have them every morning w/my coffee.. 2. of course my coffee keeps that snacking feeling away for the first part of the day.. 3. My soups are a good help for me too. I put them in the crockpot first part of the morning w/the chicken and it cooks and smells all day. It also keeps me staying at home for lunch/dinner instead of going out.. 4. walking or cleaning to keep myself moving. 5. now my clothes are beginning to feel looser which is definitely a motivator.. I know you can do this Sarah! Stay strong and find that motivator that'll keep you going. Stay strong!.. |

It was me. I love that show. I was mad at the previews for next week with her kissing denny. He is a piece of trash. Up your water intake also to help flush the fluid out your system.I am sure those pesky 4 pounds is mostly that...

Sorry I haven't been around ladies. This past week has been really stressful and led to me stress eating. I know I've gained a bit so I opened my Medifast box and am starting 100% back OP today. It's going to be difficult because tomorrow is prom, I have a cheesecake/tea thing on monday, and I am spending a weekend out of town with friends this upcoming weekend... but I've done it before and I just need to buckle down and get back OP before I gain more..
I need to get down to 140 by June 3rd (GRADUATION!) because that's the weight I put down when ordering my graduation gown. And I am definitelyyyy not there right now. Even though I've only eaten one meal, it feels great to be back OP. And I missed these forums!. How is everyone doing???.. |
