First question I have is Should I attempt the The Medifast Diet,, again? Many thanks for any comment. Second question.. NSV #1.

It was a blustery morning at 6am (in the high 40's - COLD for this So. Cal. girl). I could just see myself turn over and keep cuddling with my 3 year old who'd climbed into bed with me earlier. Nope! Gotta get in my exercise... I said a quick prayer, put my feet on the floor, crawled into my yoga pants, sweatshirt and scarf and headed out the front door for a brisk walk.



NSV#2.

It isn't enough that my office is a foodie's free-for-all, they have to announce it via email to the whole staff!.

Friday mornings they bring in breakfast (otherwise known as a carb-fest): bagels w/ cream cheese, assorted donuts, & sliced fruit. NSV #1: I promptly deleted the 2nd email (in 3 hours), and STAYED at my desk & ate my favorite blueberry oatmeal. After all, I didn't wake up and freeze my **** off for a bagel!.

NSV#3.

Then, our new neighbor, Z Pizza, though it would be nice to drop off 15 pizzas and salad as a way of introducing themselves to our office. They must have heard how much we like to eat around here. What did I do? I prompltly deleted email 2 and walked quickly to the kitchen to prepare my Medifast scrambled eggs w/tabasco..

Walking into lunchroom could not be avoided as the only microwave resides in there. Otherwise, I use the hot water dispenser by my area and never go in there. But I needed the eggs, since I was craving a hot (and solid) meal. I quickly whisked my "eggs" in a coffee cup, and threw them into the micro. While waiting, I filled my 20 oz. bottle with iced water and a splash of lemon for the second time today.

This too shall pass, I tell myself. After all, I didn't wake up and freeze my **** off & then skip a free bagel! (Microwave beeps) Thank the everloving Lord!!! A quick stir and I'm outta there! Hooray for me!.

I wonder how many NSV's I can accomplish today!..
