Got a quick question: What are some other Nutrisystem diets? Thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. Just curious what the majority of you guys do with reorders. Like most newbies, I ordered a large variety of meals for my first order to try as many foods as possible. Now I have a few favorites that I'm certain I could eat nearly every day. Should I load up on those favorites, or stick to a wider variety? I suppose I could change it up with each reorder, but I'm curious to hear from those who've been here a while...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could assist you..

I am on my second order, I just keep eliminating what I don't like and hopefully I will have all that I like by the time I am done!..

Well, until and unless you've tried ALL of the Nutrisystem entrees and unless you've been getting the food longer than your Join Date of Jan '09 would indicate, you can't have tried all the dinners since there are more than you can have tried so far even if you had a different Nutrisystem dinner every day for the past month I suggest that you continue to try new things as well as getting stuff you've liked so far....

Perhaps, something like - make 1/4 of your order new stuff and most of the rest things you like - and, again if you are as new to Nutrisystem as it appears (forgive me if I'm assuming incorrectly here), even think about getting one or two of the things you disliked your first week but only had one of, just in case your taste has changed and they aren't as bad as you thought (roflmao) definitely emphasize those items you do know you like on your order, but it's a good idea to try other stuff once in a while too.

I'm not advocating getting something you'll never ever like, because that would be silly but often people have posted that after a couple months and reading ideas on the boards (and change in taste buds) they've revisited items they hated initially and found that they were actually pretty good I know that there are a few things that I tried my first few months on Nutrisystem that I haven't had again in over 3 years, but that is because certain components in those dishes will never appeal to me, period - but other things that I disliked the first time I tried them, were pretty good on a subsequent revisit....

And I also suggest that you take care not to eat all the stuff you like at the beginning of the month, leaving untried and/or less than favorite things for the end of the month that way can lead to issues space it out and perhaps save a week's worth of your absolute favorites for the last week of your month's order so you have good stuff when the pantry is emptying rather than a selection of "bleah" items safer, I promise (lmao)....

Like others have said, eliminate the ones you don't like but try them all. I kept a score card and rank the foods as I tried them; A- will order, B- may order, C- will not order. Most of my orders now are "A" items only. Some orders I may order 28 of one item. The "B" items are when I need to put some variety back in the program..

Over the last 11 months, my taste have changed some so B's became A's and new items have replaced some of those I ate all the time...

After accumulating 5 flat bread pizzas, 3 from my free week shipments, and 2 from my wifes free week shipments, I decided to try one for lunch. I actually like them as a lunch item just a bit high in calories for a lunch so I choose a low calorie dinner to compliment it..

I never though I would eat tofu but I ordered the dinner anyway, I actually like it and get 2 every month..

I mix up the dinner orders with a big variety and only double up on 5 or 6 items...

I can guarantee that your tastes will change. What you absolutely abhor right now will be a favorite later on. This is especially true for veggies but applies to Nutrisystem packaged products as well..

Next, if you find stuff you don't like, please for jihad's sake don't whine about it, act like a grown man and eat it. Like Michael said; "None of us got fat eating gourmet fare". You, like the rest of us, have spent years eating crap on a bun, prepared by pimple faced unwashed hands. Now is not the time to start getting finicky, leave that to the pussies, I mean cats..

You know you messed up when you get flamed by graylady. Too funny!..

All the food is good. If there is something you think you don't like, you just haven't gotten hungry enough to want to eat it yet. When you get hungry enough, you'll eat anything and everything they have to offer..

I order 22 items I know I like and enjoy, and 6 new items or go back to old items that didn't impress me the first time I tried them. I change those 6 items every month to something different. That way you have a mix of variety, and old favorites. That's what has worked for me the past 10 months and I'm down more than 120 pounds...

Roflmao some folks DO go thru their snack/desserts rapidly enough to be able to say that they did try them all in a week ....

Lmao well, not really a "flame", more a pointing out of certain minor details believe me m'dear, if I ever do flame someone, there will be no uncertainty about it.....

At 210 calories, they really aren't all that far off from the lunches (several "proper" lunches are at 200 cal) I generally use several "dinners" at lunch time since they fit better then and I do my own dinners instead easy way to stretch an order to last several months... or use up extra dinners....

I loaded up on my favorites for my second order and kinda regret it. I still like them, but like others have said, my tastes have changed enough to want a bit more variety..

I am surprised by how good they actually are!.

Hmm, I thought pizza was only a dinner. Ok, change that to 60 pizzas. But knowing NS, I'd order 60 and I'd get about 40 and the rest would be.

Delicious.

Substitutes..

"gives a rusty" hmm, never heard that before..

Thanks for the feedback. And thanks for being gentle, graylady! To be honest, I've only had one thing I just despisethe Cheese Tortellini. The red sauce tastes like three nails dipped in a cup of paint thinner. Not that I've ever tried that..

I think I'll take most of your advice and order slightly more of the things I like on my next order, but continue to try new things and things that I only "kind of" liked the first try. Too early to give up on the taste buds...

Well, the pizza IS a dinner entree I wasn't sure if you were responding to the prior replies regarding having the pizza at lunch or the original poster's query about getting just a few items or a range and ya know this past year has been remarkable in my experience (and I've now seen 4 fall/winter seasons with NS) for the LACK of posts *****ing about icky (or as you say ohhh so "delicious") subs maybe it's because they discontinued their favorite subs (tuna casserole dinner & bacon cheddar mashers lunch).....

As to the other - well, let's just say there's more to the phrase and I honestly don't remember when/where I got it roflmao, a checkered past, oh well....

Yeah, it's canned pasta after all if you still have some left, save it for a day when you have time to doctor it (and this one really IS easy) cook some chopped onions & garlic (mushrooms and/or zucchini if you like them too) and add about 1/2 can of diced tomatoes AND your own Italian herbs - then dump the tortellini into the pan & heat really "fixes" the canned sauce and makes a good sized bowl call the veg your lunch salad add parmesan cheese if you've got a dairy/protein available....
