First off, What can you eat on the first stage of the Medifast Diet? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. My 2nd question... I was so busy at work today it helped so much. the only time I felt hungry was right before lunch, otherwise it was a great day!. |

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Congrats! For me, the hardest part was (i know this sounds stupid) eating every 3 hours. Before MF, I would go ALL DAY without eating and barely drinking and then come home and gorge myself. This now has all changed. When I get to work, I put a sticky note on my computer telling me when to eat next. Wow, do 3 hours fly by fast now..
I have been OP since July 19, 2010 and I love it. I lost 40lbs prior to Medifast and 80lbs on MF. I still have about 80lbs more to go.. If you run across something you dont like, put it back in the cupboard and try it later, your tastebuds will change. however, there is still one food I can not tolerate .. chicken noodle soup. HA!. I wish you the best of luck!.. |

Audretoburrito thank you!! The PB bar & Lemon bar were really good and the Strawberry shake was pretty filling for me!. Angie66075 thank you and congrats on your weight loss! So inspiring! Im taking your advice about the brownies, there is a weird after taste that made it not fun : ( but hopefully after I get more into the program I can revisit them. In the meantime everything else is definitely something Id have again : ). Eron55 YES!!!! YAY!!. Ondriab look at us go : ) looking forward to the journey w/you ; ) I didnt get a headache until just before bed (luckily), but Ive gotten stocked up on Tylenol for the next couple of days : ).. |

I am new and just finished day three..thank god! I only got the two week package to start - to see if I could actually do this. So far, I can't stand that chicken soup or the oatmeal. So, I stuck to the shakes and bars. Do you all just order ale carte? You were right about the headaches and grumpy disposition! I hope to snap out of that soon! It's great to see other posts for those who have gone through what I have. I have alot to lose, but my health and figure to gain back!..

Hi,.
I am back after a few years. I lost over 50 pounds on Medifast a few years ago and stopped there, halfway to my goal of 140 pounds. I am back again, this time after shocking myself on the scale this morning at 255 pounds. I realize that is less than some, but it is the most I have ever weighed. I am 59 with arthritis, and I noticed my lower back and hips were hurting, so I got on the scale. I think I am retaining fluid and that's where the pain is coming from, as I have recently been thoroughly checked over. For me, when I had my moderate success last time, the hardest part was the first three days, when I told my husband I wanted to knock everybody down that I walked past. Then I got used to feeling hungry, then I didn't really feel hungry if I ate often enough, I just wanted to eat. I also was in the habit of not eating all day, then eating huge quantities all at once.. The food tastes different after you are on this a few weeks. The aftertastes don't bother you, and the soup tastes better. I mix a beaten egg into my noodle soup and microwave it til it cooks. If you soak the soups an hour in a thermos of hot water, it softens the noodles and vegetables.. Getting started again is going to be hard. I am disappointed in my wasted effort a few years ago. I have yo yo dieted all my adult life since my kids were born, and I always end up gaining more than I lost. I would like to fix that problem this time, and get healthy and stay that way. I'm getting too old to keep doing this... |
